Hi!
I have quite small eyes. The other day my friend was at my place and we were fooling around with makeup… She applied eye liner on the inner eyelid. I think I looked awful (I never apply eye liner on the inner eyelid/ rim when I apply makeup myself_. Anyway, she works in cosmetic industry, and she said this is the right thing to do on my eye shape. I guess considering her profession, I could give her more credibility, but applying eye liner on the inner eyelid just doesn’t seem right on my eyes.
Thanks for reading!

Aloha Polona!
You are right- people with small eyes should never use eyeliner on the inner eyelid or better said on the inner rims. Instead of this you should put it above (if applying on upper eyelid) or above (if applying on lower eyelid) the lash line!
Don't worry, you are doing it the right way!

I was taught to put mine on my lower lashline inside and up top of the lash line for your upper lashes since I was in middle school. Ive been doing it ever since and I dont feel right without it that way lol

If you line your inner lashes, make sure to put mascara on your lower lashes as well... that makes it look right without mascara to even it out you look weird.

applying eyeliner or mascara on lower eyelid or eyelashes creates dark shadows under eyes. for people like me (with constant dark circles), this is out of the question. it really looks weird. Confused
but we are all different, and i am sure that something that looks awful on me, suits someone else. It is really a matter of eyes shape and dark circles of course Wink
