I have heard that one of the best ways to lose weight without starving oneself with some diet would be to fasten one’s metabolism. How can this be done? Is there a difference between male and female bodies when it comes to fastening the metabolism? What could one expect to gain with it?

Having a fast metabolism means burning calories the right way. Lean figure and a body weight that is under control come hand in hand with it. Younger people tend to have a faster metabolism. There is also a slight difference between male and female bodies, with males having a10 to 15 % faster metabolism than women do.
The good news for those who have a slower metabolism is that its speed can be regulated. You can fasten it, and there are some effective ways to do that.
The most important thing is exercise. Physical activity, whether it be cardiovascular exercise or weight lifting will do wonders for your metabolism. Muscles burn calories faster than fat, even while resting, and the more muscles you have the more calories will you burn. A good cardio exercise routine will improve your heart rate and feed those muscles with the much-needed oxygen.
Another important thing is meals. By increasing the number of meals you have in one day, you will train your metabolism to burn those calories quickly. Ideally, you should eat 5 to 6 smaller meals a day. This will speed up your metabolism and give your body the calories it needs to function properly. It is also likely to keep you from overeating
Remember to drink plenty of water. Six to eight glasses is the recommended amount per day, and you can always spice it up with a slice of lemon.
These simple steps will not only fasten your metabolism and help you lose some weight, but will also let you lead a healthier life.

A lot of exercise usually does it for me. I have a problem gaining weight actually.
