What sit ups are best to be done for a woman- half or full sit ups?
I would also like to know considering female ab routine- for better abs- is it better to do side abs, or straight abs? I have excess fat on the side of my stomach, what abs would be better to do?

First of all, there is no difference in female ab routine or masculine ab routine. Some women do regularly 100 sit ups daily, while some men are not capable to do 10, and of course the other way around.
If you are planning to start with abs- I suggest you do half sit ups- perhaps you didn’t know, but they are as effective as full sit ups- abs stop working then lifting head and shoulders from the flour- half sit ups do cover this area. The biggest advantage of half sit ups is that you do not burthen your back.
Side abs- which means twisting your body slightly in waist- are best for excess fat on the side, so yes they are better for your case. Besides, not only side abs work, but also front abs.
