My mum has wrinkles around her eyes, which are very annoying for her and would like to get rid of them. Creams do not help or have minimal results, they make her skin look softer (for example over $100 for emu oil, but wrinkles are still there). Her face still looks young, though she has expression wrinkles around her eyes. The rest of the face is clean. I have good genes...yeeeeeee!
What would be best for her to do it? Face lifting? Botox? |

I am not sure what would be better... botox has shorter effects, but procedure is very short, has minimal side effects, is cheaper than face lifting which lasts up to 10 years.
You say she has wrinkles only around her eyes. I think it would be better to use botox in this case... botox is toxin that makes your muscles sensless... they do not move anymore, however, there is also a bed side to this... other muscles, where botox is not injected work and move more for this reason (they take the job from muscles that are under toxins). Consequently, botox, in the long run, creates additional wrinkles, that might not appear if botox wasn't used.
I sincerely suggest your mother consults dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Medical opinion would be most reassuring, don't you agree?
Hope ev erything work out!
