It would be definitely easiest to take gentle base of commercial shampoo (this shampoo has to be neutral- baby shampoo is a good choice) and then add your own combination of herbs that you prefer. This herbs can be in form of etheric oils, which will give your hair desired aromas.
To one part shampoo, add 5 parts herbal adding.
There are a large variety of herbs you can use but you need to study the properties of each herb in order to use them safely for your intention. For example, if your hair lost shining, use parsley or rosemary. They also help with dandruff. For darker hair use cloves and ground walnut, for fair hair citrus spices work great. Lemon, for example even lights up blond hair, while sage does the trick with gray and dark hair. |
