Red meat has nuitrive function, besides it gives strenght. Especially red meat with lost of iron and zink. Loss of iron can lead to problems with blood, and red meat is one the main sources of iron. Main feature of zink is positive effect on immune system. Red meat also contains lots of useful omega 3 acids.
You need to eat red meat in order to have balanced nutrition.
Some diets, for example Atkins diet, recommend red meat. This diet types stand on fact that by eating proteins people loose weight.
On the other hand, eating too much red meat is also not good for the body.
Appropriate amount of red meat for adult person is 200 g of beef a day, 4 times a week. It is also recomendable not to eat this amount in one meal, but divide it- that way should body easier deal with cholesterol.
Most recommendable is red meat with no fat; for example: beefsteak, veal, ostrich. |
