Many physicians claim that red wine in moderate amount is healthy and reduces heart disease. By moderate I mean one or maximum two glasses daily. Best is red wine, with lower level of alcohol, and not very sweet wines (sweet wines usually have more alcohol).
Researches established red wine lowers the risk of heart attack for middle aged people by 30 to 50 percent and prevents additional heart attacks if you have already suffered from one.
Wine is also beneficial for digestion, namely wine acids in the production and flow of gastric juices. Wine also helps lower the risk of developing dementia and Alzheimer´s disease.
If you have trouble with insomnia, wine helps people sleeping
Red wine is rich in vitamins, minerals, and natural sugars that are often beneficial to good health. It is very rich in potassium and vitamin B and low in sodium.
In conclusion, wine is healthy and preventer of many diseases. |

One glass of wine (red or white) contains around 100 calories. Sweeter wines have more calories. This is becouse sweeter wine contains residual sugar and consequently more alcohol.
100 calories per one glass aren't to be disregard i mean you have to burn them, ya? |
