| I have a job that doesn’t require makeup wearing, and never before I actually wore makeup, so actually do not know how to apply it. Yes, I am the only one, I guess. Do you have a makeover tip for me. How should I apply makeup? |

Hello!
No, you’re not the only one and am glad you’re ready for makeover. First thing you have to do is to clean your face of all dirt. Best is to do it with warm water and cleanser. You might also use a skin freshener to close your pores. You don’t want them to be visible when applying powder?
Ok, next step is skin moisturizing. Apply cream- skin has to be moisturized under makeup.
Ok, we are going to makeover eyes area. First, use concealer to hide dark areas under eyes and facial lines. Concealer has to be brighter than your skin tone.
After applying concealer apply foundation to enhace skin tone, afterwards you may or not dust your face with translucent powder. You should test your foundation on nose or jawline. Do not test it in hands, because it is not the same color of skin as it’s on face. Foundation should be applied with short and upward strokes. It is important not to apply foundation past the jawline.
Next thing is eyeshadow and eyeliner. When using eyeshadow, choose color that fits your eyes and hair. When applying eyeshadow, use bright or medium color on the eyelid and dark color in the crease of the eyeto give the eye depth. If you want to accent the eye, use a light shade underneath the eyebrow. If you have small eyes, do not use eyeliner or better use it only on outer corners of eyes. This also widens eyes and makes them bigger.
Next thing is to apply blusher to highlight and add color to the cheekbones. Let it be somewhat pinkish and do not exaggerate.
Define your lips with complementary lipstick, and if you want lipliner (though I never use it). If you plan ot use lipliner, let it be same color as lipstick. If you’ll apply lacquer on nails, color has to fit color of lipstick.
And the final step- applying mascara. Apply on upper eyelashes. Best is to apply in two layers, no more.
That’s it- that is your makeover. Try it on before the ‘big moment’, and experiment a little, I am sure you’ll be in the game before you know it.
Cheers,
Biba |
