After years of wearing my hair long and straight, I am thinking about getting a new hairstayle. Of course, this is easier said than done. I start to panic every time I imagine different ways in which it could all go wrong. Could someone advise me on what I should pay attention to when choosing a new look for myself?

So, the new do ……….

Mmm, yeah.

So I get up this morning, and I note my ‘do’ is not looking like Lisa Rinni’s do.

So I decide to wash my hair for the Easter workshop and then re~create ‘the look.’

I had watched my hairdresser of 18 years and we talked about what I could use.

So I washed and conditioned my hair using the latest Nutrimetics products.

I towel dry my hair and then use a little mousse (hard hold stuff) I back dry and pull and tweak and toussle. I then take some gel and apply some product to the ends and flick and style and then hair spray and VOILA, um…….

So, I pull and tweak and toussle and flick and style and VOILA, um……..

Yeah, not quite Lisa Rinni, more Meg Ryan maybe???

i know the feeling and it scares you. what i usually do every time i decided to cut my hair, i look in a mirror and imagine myself having that new hair style. just look for the style that would look good on you. try to ask some of your friends if it is ok to have this kind of style or to have the other one better.

We all get bored with our look sometimes, and the changes usually start with our hair. At the same time, there is safety and comfort in routine, and our hairstyles are no exception to that.
The thought of making some changes is scary. The thought of these changes ruining our appearance will fill us with terror.
These fears are not altogether unrealistic. How many times have you witnessed bad haircuts or horrible choices of colour? Sure, hair grows back. But what should one do in the meantime?
One way of avoiding such mistakes when choosing a new hairstyle is to learn some simple rules and pointers.
The first thing that you should have in mind is the shape of your face. Not every haircut will suit every face and this is quite important to remember. You can find a lot of useful information regarding face shapes and suggested haircuts on the Internet, so try to do some digging before making a definitive decision.
Another thing to think about is the type of your hair. Your new hairstyle should bring out rather than smother your hair’s best qualities.
Finally, choose a hairstyle that best fits your attitude and personality. Your hair can say a lot about you, so try to make it sound fabulous.
