This is very hard for me to write, since this hasn’t been happening before, and I had perfectly normal sexual life. I am very confused and don’t know where and whom to turn to.
I would like to know something more about penis straightening surgery. I have been having some problems with sexual intercourse lately, and am afraid this could be due my penis is curved when erected. I read this has something to do with Peyronie’s disease. I am really not sure what to do. All I know, I sometimes fell some pain, and when I have erection, penis is curved, which in some way prevents to have ‘normal’ intercourse.
Now, I would like to know if my state can be improved? Is penis straightening surgery even possible? What risks penis straightening surgery carries?
Thank you for you help! |

Hello!
I sincerely hope you will overcome your fear and confusion soon and see your doctor to explain your problem in more detail, and your doctor will send you to a specialist. This is going to happen almost definitely and there is no other way.
About penis straightening surgery… penis straightening surgery is possible, but whether you are right candidate for penis straightening surgery is only to doctor to decide. Penis straightening surgery depends on the severity of penis ‘deformation’. For example penis straightening surgery is recommended when there is a significant penile defect preventing sexual relations, and as you say this is the case in your life. There is a ‘rule’ for patients who undergo penis straightening surgery: Patients with bent erections that have been stable for more than 6 months and prevent sex undergo penile straightening surgery. Once again, surgery is determined by the site and severity of the curvature as well as the penile anatomy assessed by penile ultrasonography.
Recovery time for penis straightening surgery is less than one week.
Penis straightening surgery does carry some risks. Almost everyone experiences penis shortening for about 1 inch, because penis straightening surgery is done with attempt to straighten the penis by trying to shorten the longer side to match the shorter side. Other possible risks are numbness of penis, residual curvature and erectile dysfunction. With the exception of penile shortening, which happens to everyone who undergoes penis straightening surgery, they are all rare.
I sincerely suggest that you consult your doctor! Especially, since you say this problem causes you pain. Doctors are there to help you!
Take care and I hope everything turns out great for you!

There are a lot of surgical procedures that can be done on the penis, either to correct size or shape. But before you decide to have one, it would be best to figure out what you have first.
Just in case, you're clear on what you have but you still don't know what you want, I suggest you read this article.

Maybe you won't even have to undergo surgery. |

| There are lots of corrective surgeries on male organs, but I don't think you need any of them. If crookedness is your problem then don't pressure yourself too much. It might actually be a blessing. Some women get more pleasure with curved penises |

| Brian, sorry to butt in but I had a bf before who also complained about the same condition. When we did it, it was never a problem. On the contrary, we were able to enjoy several positions because of that. Don't curse your condition yet. It might just be an advantage on your part. |
