Hi Dana!
This varies with every man… smell is very sensitive smell and some scientists say that men are attracted by perfumes that remind them of their mothers… I do not suggest buying a perfume that reminds of mother, anyway
Since it is summer time- I suggest summer perfume- do not buy heavy, Kenzo like perfume (I think Kenzo has very heavy perfumes, and I can’t believe some women- even girls- Kenzo is not good for young, more for mothers….older mothers, wear Kenzo in summer- I makes me suffocating).
For summer are best citrus aromas with flowery scent. It is really hard to say what exactly would suit you, because it how perfume will act on you also depends on your skin chemistry… some perfumes smell beautiful on some women, while on others—ehmm, forget about it.
It is always best to try out perfumes in the morning, and do not buy it right away…let it breath on your skin for at leas 4 hours- if you like it after that- go and buy it. Perfumes namely have a different scent when applied, few minutes later they change it and even after that they achieve their true and top aroma. This is why you have to wait.
Also, when trying perfumes, do not try it only on paper- spray it on the back of your hand- see how it works on your skin! Many women rub perfume after they apply it on skin- this is wrong- by rubbing it into skin, moleculas of perfume are destroyed… and perfume looses it’s true identity.
Now what men like- oriental scents bring out feminity in every woman- typically oriental is jasmine. I personally do not like jasmine to much- it gives me headache (if there is too much jasmine!!!), but if there is a drop behind…mmmm..beautiful.
Musk – animal origin – reminds men of sexuality.
Most perfumes contain both scents, it is only up to you what mixture of aromas you prefer. It is very important if perfume suits your skin- if it does- that perfume will attract every man.
Good luck with your new perfume! |
