There are few options for wrinkles reduce. Most traditional are dermabrasion and chemical peels. Both act by scraping layers or dissolving skin away. Laser resurfacing works on similar principle, though it is much more invasive method.
There are other options, of course. Botox injections are/ were very popular. Botox is most effective when dealing with reducing frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead creases. Treatment is very short. It takes time to inject botox, which is 15 minutes. The bad side of botox injection is, botox has to be re-injected every 6 months to achieve same results.
Another option are collagen and restylane fillers, which also effectively reduce wrinkles. This substances fill space where your wrinkles are, and do not paralyze muscle as botox does. Treatment with fillers takes about 30-45 minutes and results are seen immediately.
More invasive treatment is surgical facelift. There are also possibilities getting non-surgical facelift. |
