Propylene Glycol, also known as PG; Ethylene glycol (damages kidney, liver, irritant), Polyethylene Glycol (PEG), which is used in face and oven cleansers!!! Sodium hydroxide (powerful irritant, in chemical industry, users are warned to wear full protective clothing when handling the concentrate). Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA)- destroys skin cells and skin’s protective barrier. From AHA use long-term skin damage may result.
Diethanolamine DEA, Cocamide DEA, Lauramide DEA= all found in skin cleansers and other skin products. All are carcinogen. Also watch out for the other ethanolamines, triethanolamine TEA and monoethamolamine MEA- most often are found in sunscreens and are also carcinogen, and cause liver damage.
Bentonite- found in many skin products, also skin cleansers. Clog pores and suffocate skin.
Avoid Butane, Collagen (forms a layer of film that tens to suffocate the skin), Dioxin (carcinogen- one of the most potent and powerful poisons), Formaldehyde (toxic gas, strong irritant, carcinogen- used in agriculture as preservative), Lanolin (causes allergy reactions).
Mineral oil- found in (baby) lotions- not good for skin, because it forms oily layer on skin and this way hinders normal skin respiration by keeping oxygen out. Petroleum has same potential harmful properties as mineral oil, and many, many more…
Hope this helps a little,
