small eyes

Hi everyone!
I need advice on makeup. I have quite small eyes and don't know what kind of makeup should I use, actually how should I use it. which colors? eye shadow? eye liner? PLS, help!

Hey Tally!

You have the same problem as me.
First thing I learned is not use too much eye makeup. Focus on keeping the eye open, so too much makeup or too much makeup will close the eye and make it look smaller.
You should use colors that aren’t dark, but more pale and shimmery. Color is your choice. You could go with blue, soft grey. I love orange, because it highlights color of my eyes…it’s completely your choice, just avoid darkness. Apply shadow on the entire eyelid as far as crease, blending outward. If you must use dark color, then softly blend darkest color in crease and at outer corner of eye- more intense shades in the creases.
Next step is eyeliner. Not too much! Eyeliners create new barriers, so do not use on the entire eye!!! Only use it on the outer eye corners. Line upper lid at lash line from inner corner to outer corner. Apply line on lower lid under lashes on outer corner only- about one third of eye from outer corner then apply your mascara. Add lift to the outer corners. I use eyeliner just for outer corners, I mostly do not use it for upper lid, only on lower outer corner, and little on the lower lid, aprox. one third or lower eyelid. And then I add lifts. Don't let them to straight. I discrete them with fingers…not to be tooooooo obvious.
I suggest an hour in front of mirror and make a little experiment… see for yourself what suits you best.

i tried couple of things you suggested and you are right...no eyeliner for me, except on the outer corners.
