Hi,
Yup, she really is something. I mean, I never saw something like this. First I thought she is fake, then I realized she is not. I mean, she really knows these stuff. She is the owner of a collection hair line.
I have here her article on healthy hair. I will just bring out some points that I consider reason for her gorgeous hair.
She mentions balanced diet as this is important to overall well being for everyone. Unbalanced diet could be a reason for thin, dry, brittle and broken off hair.
We should avoid excessive exposure to the sunlight, since skin, scalp and hair are prone to sun damage, which is very strong, that is why she is recommending wearing scarf.
She also claims we should have a regular maintenance program with our hair care professional and we should consult with her/ him how should we take care for hair between visits.
Then, she says no to regular use of hot styling tools and they damage hear with heat. Hair becomes brittle, etc. She says we should send our hair on vacation and let them dry by themselves
Stephanie Suthers suggests the use of hot oil treatments as pre-shampoo conditioning, since hot oil stimulates strengthens, and moisturizes the hair and it also loosens and sloughs off the dead surface cells on the scalp and provides nourishing emollient and antioxidant benefits….huh, I wrote it
She also commits to the right shampoo and balsam choice. She suggests those from her collection, off course
One more thing I find interesting here is also that we should take care of our scalp. I think many women do not see it that way. I mean, she is definitely right: hair will not grow well from unhealthy scalp. Scalp is alive and should be well taken care of because hair grows from there. She says scalp should be fed regular with vitamins, minerals, herbs, amino acids, fruit and nut oils.
That’s it from me. Hope it helps. |
