Besides laser resurfacing, chemical peels and botox, and other injectable fillers, other options for sun-damaged skin are available. Among creams and gels these are tretinoin, which have been proven to reverse sun damage and smooth skin. This is not an instant product, but must be used over many months and years and only then there is visible reduction in the wrinkling and fine lines.
Tazarotene is the newest product shown to have advantages in reversing sun damage. It is also a retinoid or a vitamin A. it is best used in winter time, since sun light must be avoid because of possible pigmentation.
Talk with your doctor more on this topic, maybe you’ll be given a good advice. |
