I heard that some sun protection products do more damage than good, since they contain some ingredients there are no good for skin and become cancerous on sun/ light.
Which are that ingredients? And what kind of sun protection products should people use then? |

Be aware of sun protection products that contain Benzophenones (benzophenone-3, homosalate, and octy-methoxycinnamate (octinoxate), since they have shown estrogenic activity in lab tests.
Ingredients you are talking about are Padimate-O and Parsol 1789. These are chemicals that have the potential to damage DNA when illuminated with sunlight.
YOU CAN USE zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. Both are effective and SAFE sun blocks that rest on the skin without being absorbed. |
