Generally there are 4 methods that remove tattoos. Surgical method cuts the tattoo away; dermabrasion removes epidermis and dermis layers with a wire brush; salabrasion stands for salt solution which soaks the tattoo; last method is called scarification, meaning tattoo is removed with an acid solution, afterwards scar is formed on tattoo’s place.
I think all tattooing remove techniques include scarring. Anyway, it would be smart to talk to doctor or plastic surgeon to see what can be done and if scar is also present. |
