My doughter is in puberty and getting some teen stretchmarks on thighes and stomach. (I think they do not look so horrible) She is mad about it and been bothering me with this more than a month to buy her some over the counter cream. I know this creams do not work really, cos I have been there my self and bought some of them. Is there a cure for teen stretchmarks?
Please, people help me/her! |

Stretch marks are very delicate and if you remember, especially in her years...
One cream is available on market and I think it is called Retin A, but then again I am not sure if she as a teenager should use it (i know pregnant and breastfeeding women shouldn't). This cream should help ease her sorrow! It decreases appearance of new stretch marks, so they fade and look older sooner (well, you know how older stretchmarks look, they are somehow brighter than the rest of the skin). i think this is the only realistic solution for her and of course to face the fact that everyone and I mean it everyone (even men) have stretchmarks. Stretchmarks are simply part of life because our skin stretches and then they occur.
tell her to avoid getting/ loosing weight to fast- this is also one way to avoid stretchmarks.
I hope she will realize it she is not the only one and that we are all in this!
Take care Lily and send regards to your daughter! |
