I have the most embarrassing problem! I have the worst bikini line ever! What to do now?
I shave my bikini line, and afterward I get many red bumps in the bikini area- then it takes few days till the area calms down. It is horrible feeling, it feels itchy, and most of all, it looks horrible. This is frustrating for me! What can I do? |

I have the same problem when shaving! I think shaving is the problem!
So, I started waxing, actually I use silk epil (little mashine that pulls out hair). Hair grow back much slower and softer than before. The effect is much longer and I really like that! For at least 14 days I do not have to worry about hair!
Redness is also very temporary, and it occurs because hair is being pulled out with a root- it takes no longer than 1 day or even less. |

I am not sure this is just due to shaving! My best friend has the same problem no matter she shaves or waxes.
I do not have so sensitive skin, but I have noticed one thing- usually I wax in the bikini line (because of all the reasons mentioned before), but sometimes I just do not have the time, so I have to shave- of course- this shaving sucks, because in matter of 2 or 3 days, hair is back, and I have to shave it again- and now here comes the problem---- I think that if you’re shaving to often (like twice in 3 or 4 days), this may irritate skin, and red bumps occur.
My friend found a solution for her problem. After she shaves and pat dry her skin, she applies thin layer of baby powder- no matter she has bumps or not- baby powder works as prevention. Maybe this is the answer to your problems! Try it! It helps her, and her skin is really problematic considering that red bumps problem.
Good luck!
