| I have a question about valtrex and pregnansy. My sister had herpes and was put on valtrex. Now, she plans to get pregnant, but we are all telling her it is not safe to do so, until being on valtrex. Tell me, is it safe to use waltrex during pregnansy? |

No, it is not. Your sister should immediately contact her doctor!
The effects of Valtrex during pregnansy and breastfeeding have not been adequately studied, thus she should be very careful! Tell her not to play around, since this drug should not be used by people with weak immune system or system 'under' changes, such as pregnansy. |
