Hi, I am 23 years old and have been gaining on pounds and this is getting to me. The thing is that after several efforts of exercise and dieting, I don’t seem to get any slimmer! There are many ways to lose weight, but I have exhausted all the ways I know. I have consulted a few people but all of them have been telling me the same thing. It isn’t helping me and only making my fears worse.
Is there some way to make me feel better!!! |

Hey Beningo,
I hope you don't feel too disappointed ... It is mostly about lifestyle...getting enough healthy food and exercise. I guess you've heard it before
There are no pills- they might help at beginning, but all lost pounds come back when you start living your daily routine. Thus, it is all about changing your lifestyle - more exercising etc.. - You don't have to run marathon, do what you love doing - swim, walk, skate... And food - vegetables and fruits, lean meat, fried food only occasionally. Sure, do not take all this too serious - we all love little sins - eating chocolate and similar, just not every day or if every day mot in large amounts.
Why do you think you're gaining pounds? Cos you're not eating right or not getting enough movement? I think you should first answer these questions and then act.
If this is any comfort to you - i also gained weight and I know why - I am constantly eating I even went and bought baby test to see if I am pregnant Imagine mislead Telling myself i might be pregnant and that it is the cause I am eating too much. I am crazy.
So, the only way, at least in my way, is to get up and start moving and most of all - stop eating (that much).
Good luck! (to you and me) |

| You are not the only one having problems trying to lose weight, without any success. I know that it is very frustrating to try all sorts of things and still be in the same shape…..I too have faced that!!! Just a couple of weeks back I came across Weight Loss 2008/ onesteptofitness.com that not only made me glad I did (I finally got a product that does the real thing) but got the work started. It has been a great way for me because it doesn’t throw up obstacles but gets the job done. |

| Have seen a doctor? It is good to rule out any medical reasons for your weight gain. If there are no medical reasons that could be the cause of your weight gain, I would suggest that you begin to write down all that you eat every day. This will help you to keep a track of what you are eating. You'll probably find that you're eating foods that just add calories to your diet, without much nutrition. Do this exercise for at least two weeks. Do a careful study and find out how you can change your diet, to include more nutriton with less calories. Continue with a rigorous exercise program. You need to burn off those calories! |

| Hello buddy ! We've known for some time that limiting high fat foods in the diet can be helpful with weight loss. That's because fats pack in 9 calories per gram compared to only 4 calories per gram from proteins or carbohydrates. To many, the message to limit fats implied an endorsement to eat unlimited amounts of fat-free products. Just to clarify, fat-free foods have calories too. In some cases fat-free foods have as many calories as their fat laden counterparts. If you eat more calories than your body uses, you will gain weight. Eating less fat will help you to lose weight. Eating less fat and replacing it with excessive amounts of fat-free products will not. |
