wash hair every day

My hair gets greasy very fast, and since I work in PR and have constant contact with public and media, I have to look fresh all the time and cannot afford myself to have greasy hair.
Before that job, I used to wash hair every third day, and when my hair would get dirty, I would just simply tied it into ponytail. I cannot afford that no more. This has begun to worry me, because my hair begun to look more dry and damaged (and I do not color it). I think this is because I wash hair every day. I use loreal shampoo (I do not use conditioners, because they tend to make my hair even more greasy).
What do you suggest?

I think that loreal shampoo is ok if you wash your hair every third day, but since you wash it every day, you should use shampoo that is more gentle. Some kind of baby shampoo would be best.
About conditioners: conditioners are good for preventing split ends, and after washing hair is easier to comb it- besides hair doesn’t break. The trick with greasy hair and conditioners is to apply conditioner only on hair ends- this way conditioner will not make your hair greasier.
Many people wash their hair every day- all you need to do is to choose milder shampoo- best is baby shampoo.
