with water baskeball ball handling is perhaps the biggest magic of all- but you'll learn it. For start it is better to have smooth or slippery ball and not a new one. When you learn to handle with a slippery ball, you'll be a real profi
Ok, for start get out of the pool and learn to handle ball on land- then get in to water and then again on land and learn what are the main differences- how water affects the ball.
Here are some exercises for ball handling:
-Put your arm infront of you and tap the ball back and forth between figers; move your arms up and down and practice coordination with ball. You can do the same exercise while moving your arms left or right.
-squeeze ball with one hand and shift it to another hand; again move it up and down, and left and right.
-stretc hands in height of your shoulders and pass ball over your head; at first look how you pass it, then exercise it without looking.
-throw the ball few feets in the air, turn for 180 degrees and cath it. The same thing, difference is- turn it for 360 degrees.
-get the ball spining on your finger.
... in the meanwhile you'll learn some other exercises, actually you'll invent it yourself.
Have a great time! |
