Hi, could someone pls give me some instructions on hair masks? I don't what exactly it is, thus what is a hair mask? Can it be prepared at home? If not, what hair mask do you recommend?
My hair is quite dry, - should i use hair masks or not? |

Hot oil treatments are also recommendable for dry hair.
But, ok- what is hair mask? Have you ever used face mask? Well, hair mask is just the same, except you apply it on hair.
I guess they can be made at home, but I never tried that. It's much easier to buy them- they are not that expensive and they last, since you don't have to use them every time you wash your hair, but once in a month or something like that. Or you can buy one one use packets, which are a bit more expensive, but handy. |

I use hair mask more often than just once in a month, and i think you could too since you have dry hair- this is a point of hair mask- hair moisturizing, thus use it at least every week.
I use Avon planet Spa Mediterranean olive oil conditioning hair mask
Makes my hair really soft (and they are not soft naturally- i have curly, coarse hair otherwise). Smells nice, but it should be cheaper considering that i use it almost twice a week. Really works great on dry and damaged hair (i iron my hair, so yes, it is damaged). Mask is really all the best, except the price- could be cheaper. |

Hi,
if you don't want to buy hair masks, here are few recipes for homemade hair masks:
1.beat 2 eggs, add two spoons milk and apply on hair. Leave for 5 min and then rinse. Or beat one 1 egg till foamy, add 6 spoons plain yogurt, apply on hair leave 15 minutes, rinse.
2.½ cup honey, 3 tablespoons olive oil- mix and run through hair. Cover with shower cap and leave for 30 minutes. I don't like that one- i have problems with removing honey from hair.
3.Very good for dry and damaged hair- olive oil. Put some in a cup and then put a cup in a dish with hot water, so the olive oil warms. Be careful not to overheat, so you won't burn yourself. Apply on hair , leave 15 minutes and then wash off. |

Hi! Can you please tell me if you need to apply hair mask on wet hair? Do you think it matters? Do you apply it before or after conditioner, or instead of conditioner? Thank you very much! |
