Both wrinkle removers, collagen injecitons and botox have the same function- to remove wrinkles, make them less visible, and they both work differently.
Collagen injecitons are actually liquid made from connective tissue and they are best used to remove wrinkles, such as cows and acne scars- collagen injection works by filling in wrinkles.
Results last more than 12 months, but more a serie of injections has to be injected.
Collagen injeciton can be dangerous for health- way of prevention are tests made to determine whether person is allergic to collagen or not (but even those tests are not 100%). About 3% of population is allergic to collagen injections.
Botox is younger method, very popular and advertised as non surgical procedure. Botox works by paralyzing facial muscles, which creates a look without wrinkles. This effect last up to 3 or 4 months and then you need botox again. Some even say that botox causes other wrikles to appear. This happens because botox paralyzes certain part of muscles, this is why other muscles have to work more- this creates new wrinkles.
Botox is actually a poison, but it doesn't work as poison when injected, I mean it cannot poison you. Though there are some possible side effects possible... like headaches, respiratory infections, flu-like syndromes and nausea, some patients report pain in the face, redness. If unexperienced hand injects botox into wrong area, you can end up with dropy eye lid taht will stay that way for weeks.
What do you think, not so innocent these wrinkle removers? |
